Employee Governance & Standards
Sawgrass Nutra Labs uses a structured governance framework to clearly define expectations, authority, and how employee-related information is organized. This framework helps ensure consistency, compliance, and clarity across the organization.
How Our Governance Framework Works
Employee information and requirements are organized into distinct document types, each serving a specific purpose. Understanding how these documents relate to one another helps employees know where to look and which guidance applies in different situations.
Leadership Intent & Governance
Organization-level expectations, values, and commitments established by
leadership.
↓
Workplace Policies
Authoritative rules that define what is required and why. Policies are
enforced consistently across the organization.
↓
Employee Handbook
Employment terms, summaries, and general guidance provided to employees.
↓
SOPs / QMS Documents
Approved procedures that define how work is performed, controlled, and
documented.
Which Document Should I Use?
-
Looking for expected behavior or ethical guidance?
Start with the Code of Conduct. -
Looking for required rules or expectations?
Refer to Workplace Policies. -
Looking for employment-related information?
Use the Employee Handbook. -
Looking for step-by-step instructions?
Follow SOPs governed by the QMS.
Document Precedence
In the event of a conflict, Workplace Policies take precedence over summaries or guidance contained in the Employee Handbook. Procedures governed by the Quality Management System (QMS) define how work is performed and must be followed for quality-critical activities.
