WIN Execution Guide — Storage & Environmental Enforcement
Non-Authoritative Execution Guide Notice
This WIN Execution Guide is non-authoritative and supports execution of controls
defined in the applicable Family Pack. Authority for control intent,
requirements, approval, and change control remains solely with the Family Pack.
This document does not modify, reinterpret, or replace governing documentation.
Screenshots or system views, where present, are illustrative only and do not
replace required system training or task qualification.
Purpose
To support consistent execution of storage and environmental enforcement activities
that ensure materials are stored under appropriate conditions that preserve
material identity, quality, and suitability throughout Warehouse-controlled areas.
Scope
This WIN Execution Guide applies to Warehouse-controlled storage areas and
activities where materials are placed, stored, staged, or held under defined
environmental and protective conditions.
- Verification of approved storage locations
- Monitoring of defined environmental and protective conditions
- Confirmation of material protection and segregation
- Identification and documentation of excursions or abnormal conditions
- Escalation through the QMS Quality Event process
This WIN Execution Guide does not define storage limits, environmental thresholds,
or disposition authority. Those responsibilities remain governed by the applicable
Family Pack, Quality Unit, and system configuration.

Section 6 — AA (Auditable Artifacts)
AA-WH-STORAGE-ENFORCE — Storage & Environmental Enforcement
This artifact provides evidence that materials are stored under appropriate
environmental and protective conditions.
Minimum evidentiary expectations include:
- Verification of required storage and environmental conditions
- Confirmation of material protection and segregation
- Documentation of excursions or abnormal conditions
- Corrective actions or escalation when limits are exceeded
Auditor focus: verification that storage conditions do not compromise material
identity, quality, or suitability.
Section 7 — WIN (Work Instructions / Control Requirements)
WIN-WH-STORAGE-ENFORCE
Enforces storage and environmental controls within Warehouse-controlled areas.
- Verify materials are stored in approved locations.
- Monitor defined environmental and protective conditions.
- Identify, document, and escalate excursions or abnormal conditions.
Control outcome: Materials are stored under conditions that preserve identity,
quality, and suitability.
Authority Statement:
Authority resides in the applicable Family Pack. The AA and WIN above are
reproduced verbatim for reference only and are maintained under formal change
control in the Family Pack.
BPO-Owned Execution Zone — WIN Execution Guide
Step 1 — Verify Approved Storage Locations
- Confirm that materials are placed only in approved storage locations that align with material type, status, and storage requirements.
- Verify that physical location (row, rack, bin, zone) matches the designated location in the system of record.
- Materials identified in unapproved or incorrect locations are not left in place and raise a QMS Quality Event.
Step 2 — Confirm Material Protection and Segregation
- Verify materials are protected from damage, contamination, or deterioration during storage.
- Confirm segregation is maintained between materials of differing status, condition, or disposition.
- Any observed compromise to material protection or segregation is escalated by raising a QMS Quality Event.
Step 3 — Monitor Environmental and Protective Conditions
- Monitor defined environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) as applicable to the storage area.
- Confirm environmental monitoring devices or indicators are present, functional, and within defined limits.
- Abnormal readings, alarms, or missing controls are identified and raise a QMS Quality Event.
Step 4 — Identify and Document Excursions or Abnormal Conditions
- Identify any excursions, alarms, or abnormal storage or environmental conditions.
- Document observed conditions in accordance with established procedures or systems.
- Ensure affected materials are not used or moved in a manner inconsistent with their current condition or status and raise a QMS Quality Event.
Step 5 — Escalation and Corrective Action
- Escalate storage or environmental excursions by raising a QMS Quality Event.
- Support implementation of corrective actions to restore compliant storage conditions.
- Continue monitoring until conditions are restored and confirmed.
Authority Reminder
This WIN Execution Guide is non-authoritative and exists solely to support
execution. The Family Pack remains the sole authoritative source for storage and
environmental control requirements and intent.
Consistency Assessment (Non-Authoritative)
Based solely on the provided text, the BPO-Owned Execution Zone appears consistent
with the stated intent and scope of Section 6 (AA-WH-STORAGE-ENFORCE) and Section 7
(WIN-WH-STORAGE-ENFORCE). No apparent contradiction observed.
