This specification establishes objective, enforceable requirements governing identification, classification, control, and monitoring of Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) that impact product quality.
All Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) shall have defined acceptance criteria and evaluation requirements in accordance with QC-IPC-002.
Applies To: All manufacturing processes and in-process parameters that may impact product quality.
Excludes: Non-quality impacting operational parameters.
Critical Process Parameter (CPP): A process parameter whose variability has a direct impact on product quality attributes.
Compliant State: CPP is defined, justified, and controlled.
Nonconforming State: CPP missing required definition or control.
Invalid State: CPP classification or control is undefined or unsupported.
Systemic CPP Control Failure: Repeated or persistent failure to maintain CPP control indicating process instability.
Escalation Trigger: Condition requiring QMS entry.
Stop-Execution Condition: Execution is prohibited when CPP control is not established.

When CPP classification is missing or incomplete, Quality Event entry is mandatory.
When CPP control limits are undefined, execution is prohibited until Quality Unit authorization is obtained.
When CPP is modified, Change Control entry is mandatory.
E — Execution: Operations execute processes but do not define CPPs.
W — Workflow Entry: QA administers QMS entries.
A — Authorization: QU approves CPP designation and control.
Compliant State: CPP defined, justified, and controlled.
Nonconforming State: CPP partially defined or inadequately controlled.
Invalid State: CPP undefined or unsupported.
Escalation Trigger: Condition requiring QMS entry.
Stop-Execution Condition: Execution prohibited until CPP control established.
All CPP additions, removals, or modifications require Change Control and QU approval.
